Basic Recipes Strudel Pastry
- Materials:
600 g high protein wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten off
2 tbsp vegetable oil (vegetable
cooking oil)
250 ml of warm water
- Content:
1 kg apples, peel, seeded, diced
300 g granulated sugar
50 ml of lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon peel
250 g raisins
200 g almond Powder
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolve in 3
tbsp water
100 g butter, melt
- Topping:
2 egg yolks
100 Almond Chips
- Sprinkles:
Powdered sugar to taste
- How to make:
1. Make a fill
first: apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice on a small fire until well
blended, cook briefly, (apples are still crisp), input raisins and orange peel,
stir. Put cornstarch solution, stir briefly, lift and chill. Store in the
refrigerator until it is used.
2. Prepare the
base dough strudel until the stage is ready to be formed and filled. Preheat
the oven at a temperature of 180oC, prepare a short pan with a
minimum size of 30 x 30 cm, with thinly thin butter, set aside. In the condition
of the skin stretches, apply melted butter with heart, try not to tear.
Sprinkle almond powder and cinnamon powder evenly. Sprinkle the apple fillings
at one end.
3. By pulling
the end of the cloth, roll with heart (strudel dough is not rolled by hand but
with the help of cloth). If the length of the strudel has been rolled longer
than the pan, bend or circle creates a spiral. Apply the surface with egg yolks
and sprinkle almond pieces. Bake for 40 minutes or until it is brownish yellow.
Lift, chill, sprinkle powdered sugar and cut into pieces.
