Raisin Cream Cheese Strudel


Basic Recipes Strudel Pastry
  • Materials:

600 g high protein wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten off
2 tbsp vegetable oil (vegetable cooking oil)
250 ml of warm water
2 tbsp butter for spreads, melt

100 g refined sugar

  • Topping:

1 egg yolks, beaten loose
100 g cheddar cheese, grated


  • How to make:

1.  Prepare strudel dough until ready to be coated, wrap it with plastic or place it in an airtight container until it is used.
2.  Prepare the contents: Shake cream cheese, fine sugar, and butter until gently, add eggs, shake back until blended. Put wheat flour and almond powder, stir. Add the orange peel and grated cheese, stir until the flat then input the raisins, stir until blended, set aside.
3.  Preheat the oven at a temperature of 200oC, prepare a short rectangular pan, apply with thin thin butter. Divide the dough strudel into 3 parts. Flatten and Thin it dough strudel. Apply the surface with melted butter then give stuffing on one of the edges of strudel skin.
4.  With the help of the cloth underneath, slowly roll. Cut the strudel using a sharp knife to gently fit the length of the pan. Apply the surface with egg yolks and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese. Bake for 20 minutes then lower the temperature to 180oC and bake again for 35 minutes or until golden yellow. Pick up and chill.
