Ingredients
¼ cup soft butter
¾ cup of sugar
1 egg
1.5 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt (I only put a pinch)
½ cup milk
250 g strawberries, thinly sliced
Crumble :
½ cup flour
½ cup sugar
¼ cup butter
¼ cup grated coconut
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 C (350 F) and grease a
9-inch (23 cm) mold with a removable edge
In a bowl, beat ¼ cup soft butter until
creamy.
Add the sugar and the egg and continue beating
until fully incorporated.
In a second bowl, mix the flour, salt and
baking powder.
Add the flour to the sugar-egg mixture
alternately with the milk until homogeneous.
Pour the dough into the butter mold
beforehand. Level the surface.
Arrange the finely cut strawberries.
Prepare the crumble by mixing the flour,
sugar, butter and coconut in a bowl.
Sprinkle over strawberries.
Bake in the preheated oven until the toothpick
sticks in the center comes out dry (about 45 min, it all depends on the ovens).

1 cup = 250 ml
