Asian Cake Recipes Baked Spice Sweet Potatoes

About 800 grams of sweet potatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Colombo (or curry or other spice
mixture)
1 tsp dried oregano (or other grass)
Salt
To be dosed to your tastes
Preheat the oven to 220oC.
Small sweet potatoes: peel and cut in half
lengthwise. Make pieces of the same thickness, as much as possible, for even
cooking.
Pour 2 tablespoons of oil into a bowl with the
spices and salt. Add the sweet potatoes and mix to coat well with the mixture.
Arrange on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with oregano and
bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Prick with a knife to check the cooking. Pour the
remaining olive oil out of the oven.
Large sweet potatoes: peel them or not if they
are organic. Cut them into rounds about 1.5 cm thick. Arrange on a baking sheet
lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with salt, spices, oregano. Pour a drizzle of
olive oil and bake for about 15 minutes. Prick with a knife to check the
cooking.
