Cinnamon Coffee Cake


100 g butter
100 g icing sugar
1/4 tsp. a teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
10 cl of fresh cream
200 g flour
2 sachets of baking powder of 7 g each

·         For garnish :

75 g whole crushed almonds
75 g crushed nuts
1 C. instant coffee
1 C. ground cinnamon
50 g caster sugar


1.    In a bowl, work the butter with icing sugar and salt to obtain a homogeneous cream.
2.    Add the eggs and then the cream, working all the ingredients.
3.    Stir in the sifted flour with the yeast and mix with a spatula to obtain a homogeneous dough without lumps.
4.    In another bowl, combine all the ingredients for the filling.
5.    In a buttered and floured mold, pour half the dough and place 3/4 of the filling on it.
6.    Cover with the remaining dough and sprinkle with the remaining 1/3 of filling.
7.    Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 170 ° C for about 45 minutes.
8.    Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool before removing it from the mold.
