Coffee Cake Recipes Easy

600 g Puff pastry
50 cl Milk
0.5 tsp. Coffee Vanilla liquid
6 Egg yolks
150 g Powdered sugar
40 g Maïzena
150 g Softened butter
2 tsp. Coffee extract

50 g Slivered almonds
1 tsp. Icing sugar
1 tsp. tablespoons chocolate coffee beans

1.    If you are using instant coffee , always double the amount indicated (four teaspoons) and add it when the cream is still hot.
2.    The puff pastry exists frozen or in the fresh produce department, in supermarkets. Whichever you choose, follow the advice on the packaging.
3.    Use the leftover puff pastry. Detail them in sticks. Roll them around anchovy fillets, sprinkle them with grated cheese or spread them with tomato sauce, and twist them on themselves. Cook them for 7 to 8 min, in the oven set to th.7 (210 ° C).
4.    Keep the egg whites that are not used in this recipe. Freeze them, remembering to indicate on a label the quantity of egg whites contained in the freezer sachet. You can thaw them and use them to make tasty meringues.
5.    The puff pastry loses its qualities , if you roll it into a ball and spread it again. You can, however, stack the scraps of dough and flatten them with a rolling pin, to reconstitute the puff pastry or to use it in another recipe.
