Crispy figs with goat cheese

6 large figs
1 small goat cheese (approx. 120 gr)
3 brick sheets
20 gr melted butter
2 branches of thyme

Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
Incise each fig, crosswise, halfway up. Spread them a little by delicately pressing the non-incised base with your fingers.
Cut the cheese in 6 and arrange each piece in a fig.

Cut the brick sheets in 2 then each half in 2 lengthwise to obtain 2 strips.
It takes ½ leaf per fig. Brush the strips of brick with melted butter. Surround each fig first with the band at the rounded edge and then with the other band, folded in 2. Prick a toothpick to keep everything in place. Tighten a little but not too much.
Sprinkle with a few sprigs of thyme.
Bake for about 8 minutes. Taste immediately.
