Homemade Carrot Cake Recipes


·         Ingredients


200 g carrots
4 eggs
200 g sugar
100 ml sunflower oil
100 ml orange juice
300 g flour
1 sachet of baking powder (16 g)
Icing sugar to decorate

·         Procedure



1.    First, with a wide-toothed grater, we start by grating the carrots, previously washed and peeled. Let's keep them aside.
2.    In a bowl, we break the eggs and with the help of an electric beater, we start to mix. Add the sugar, seed oil, and orange juice. Always continuing to mix we also greed the flour a little at a time.
3.    We add the baking powder and blend again. Finally, add the previously grated carrots and mix them well to the dough with the help of a spoon. Our dough is ready.
4.    We coat the base of a round baking tray (24 cm diameter) with baking paper and pour the mixture into it. Bake in a static oven at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes, ventilated at 170 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. Once ready, let it cool completely before pulling it out of the pan.
5.    We place the carrot cake on a serving plate and decorate it with plenty of icing sugar!
