Streusel coffee cake


275 g flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
75 g caster sugar
150 ml of milk
2 eggs
100 g de beurre fondu and ramolli
50 g almonds, chopped
2 tablespoons of soluble coffee, diluted in 1 tablespoon of boiling water
icing sugar for sprinkling (optional)
For the Streusel:
75 g rising flour
75 g brown sugar
25 g butter, diced
1 teaspoon powdered spice mixture
1 tablespoon of water


Butter a 24 cm diameter cake pan with a removable bottom and the greaseproof blouse.
Sift the flour with the yeast in a bowl and add the powdered sugar.
Beat the milk, eggs, butter, and coffee, and add the mixture obtained to the previous preparation.
Add the chopped almonds and mix everything gently.
Garnish the mold with the preparation obtained.
To prepare the streusel
Combine flour and brown sugar.
Add the butter with your fingers to obtain a breadcrumb consistency. Add the spices and water.
Mix with your fingertips and spread the streusel over the dough.
Bake in an oven preheated to 190 ° C (th 6-7) 50 min to 1 hour.
Cover with aluminum foil if the top browns too quickly.
Let cool, turn out and sprinkle with icing sugar.
